Russell Sage College (often Russell Sage or RSC) is a private, coeducational liberal arts college with two campuses located in Albany and Troy, New York, approximately 150 miles (240 km) north of New York City in the Capital District. Founded in 1916 by Margaret Olivia Slocum Sage, the widow of railroad magnate Russell Sage, the college was originally known as the Russell Sage School for Women. In 1954, the school became coeducational and changed its name to Russell Sage College.
