John Edwards
John Edwards is a Professor of Wildlife & Fisheries Resources at West Virginia University's Davis College of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Design. He obtained his B.S. Degree in Wildlife Management from WVU and furthered his education with M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from Clemson University. Prior to joining WVU in 1997, he worked as a wildlife biologist for the US Forest Service and in a research faculty position at Clemson University. Edwards has a strong research background focusing on habitat relations and selection across various species. His work includes publications on topics such as coyotes, red-headed woodpeckers, northern long-eared bats, Appalachian ruffed grouse, and American black bears. Additionally, he is passionate about promoting hunting heritage and its positive impact on society and resource conservation.
