Jinqiang Zhang

Professor Jinqiang Zhang is an active researcher in the fields of cancer stem cells, liver injury, and microRNAs, currently serving as an Assistant Professor at the Tulane School of Medicine. His academic journey began with a Ph.D. from the Institute of Basic Medical Sciences at the Academy of Military Medical Sciences in China. Over the years, Dr. Zhang has enriched his expertise through various research fellow positions at renowned institutions, where he honed his skills and deepened his understanding of pathology and laboratory medicine. Dr. Zhang's research is primarily centered on understanding the complex mechanisms of liver injury and the pivotal role of cancer stem cells in cancer progression.
