Dr. Angelo DiBello
Dr. Angelo DiBello is an Assistant Professor in the Center of Alcohol & Substance Use Studies and Applied Psychology Department at Rutgers University. He also holds an Adjunct Assistant Professorship at Brown University and directs the Social Health Addiction & Relationship Processes (SHARP) Laboratory at Rutgers. Dr. DiBello holds a Ph.D. in Social Psychology from the University of Houston (2015) and completed his postdoctoral training at Brown University's Center for Alcohol and Addiction Studies (2017). With over 60 peer-reviewed publications, Dr. DiBello's research centers on using intervention strategies to promote health behavior change in the context of addictive behaviors and studying substance use's impact on romantic relationships. His work is supported by various grants from the National Institute of Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA).
