Dr. Kyle Kennedy inspires change in the area of theatre arts, particularly in acting, through his role as a Professor and Head of Acting at Middle Tennessee State University, Department of Theatre and Dance. With a rich educational background, he earned his MFA from the University of Texas at Austin in 1993, following a BS from Texas A&M University in 1987, and an AA from Wharton County Junior College in 1984. Dr. Kennedy's professional journey is marked by his extensive work as an actor Off-Broadway and in regional theatre. His notable performances include roles in productions such as "Murder at Minsing Manor" and "Broken Pieces," which have contributed to his reputation as a versatile and skilled actor. His experiences in these diverse theatrical settings have enriched his teaching, allowing him to bring real-world insights and practical knowledge to his students.
