Professor John F. DeStefano at the Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law teaches Wills & Trusts, Estate Planning & Drafting, and Federal Income Tax. His research interests focus on the political economy of trusts and estates. Outside of academia, he serves as Of Counsel at Baker & Hostetler LLP, where he advises high-net-worth families on their legacy planning. Prior to his legal career, Prof. DeStefano held roles in private equity analysis and undergraduate business finance. He holds a B.S. and M.S. in finance from the University of Florida, as well as a J.D. with a certificate in estate planning and an LL.M. in taxation.
