Dr. Anne Lohfink is an Associate Professor in the Department of Physics at Montana State University. Her research focuses on observational black hole astrophysics, X-ray astronomy, and AGN (active galactic nuclei). She earned her Ph.D. in Astronomy from the University of Maryland in 2014. Dr. Lohfink teaches courses in theoretical astrophysics, computational physics, mathematical methods in physical sciences, classical mechanics, and introductory astronomy. She has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals such as Monthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society, The Astrophysical Journal, and arXiv. She is a member of the NuSTAR Users' Committee and has contributed to various engagement, outreach, and service activities.
