Jeff Todd

With a robust educational foundation, Dr. Todd holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Lipscomb University and a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. His academic journey has been complemented by a diverse medical career, enriching his teaching with real-world insights. Dr. Todd's medical career spans various settings, including roles as an outpatient clinic physician, emergency department physician, and nursing home physician. This extensive experience allows him to bring a wealth of practical knowledge to his students, bridging the gap between theoretical learning and practical application. His approach to teaching is deeply rooted in his commitment to preparing students for the dynamic and challenging field of healthcare. Since 2020, Dr. Todd has been a clinical preceptor for Lipscomb's Physician Assistant program, where he mentors and guides aspiring healthcare professionals. His dedication to education and mentorship is further exemplified by his role in teaching Human Anatomy and Physiology and Medical Terminology at Lipscomb, beginning in 2022.
