Dr. Amir Abbas Kazemzadeh is a faculty member in the Computing department at Boise State University. He holds a Ph.D. in Computing with an emphasis in Data Science (2019-2023) and a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering (2013-2017). Dr. Kazemzadeh's research interests lie in applying machine learning and data science to various fields, including process engineering, biomedical engineering, and materials design. He is currently working on a project funded by the Idaho NASA EPSCoR Research Initiation Grant, which involves using phase-field modeling and deep learning to design new permanent magnets for high-temperature NASA and aviation applications.
