Jeffrey Boeckman

Dr. Jeffrey Boeckman is a distinguished Professor of Music and the Director of Bands at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. In his role, he conducts the Wind Ensemble and teaches courses in conducting and wind literature, while also overseeing the comprehensive UH Bands program. His leadership has been instrumental in launching several ambitious initiatives, such as the establishment of a Master of Music (MM) Conducting degree program. He has also facilitated collaborations with renowned guest artists and initiated a composer residency program, significantly enriching the musical landscape at the university.
