With a Ph.D. in Physical Education from the University of Sao Paulo, Brazil, Dr. Magalhães has dedicated his career to exploring the intricate effects of resistance exercise and phototherapy on metabolic responses and adaptations. Dr. Magalhães serves as the Lab Director of the Exercise Physiology Lab within the Department of Health, Exercise & Sports Sciences at the University of New Mexico.
