John Dallon is a Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Brigham Young University. He specializes in numerical analysis and applied mathematics research, particularly in cell motion, cell adhesion, partial differential equations, stochastic processes, and mathematical models of biology. Dallon has held research positions at the Institut Pasteur, Isaac Newton Institute for Mathematical Sciences, and Politecnico di Torino. He received his B.A. in Mathematics from the University of Utah in 1989, his M.A. in Mathematics in 1991, and his Ph.D. in Mathematics in 1996. Before joining BYU, he was a research assistant at the University of Warwick and Heriot-Watt University.
