Jeffrey Benson

Dr. Jeffrey Benson specializes in Pediatric Pulmonary, Allergy, and Sleep Medicine and serves as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Pediatrics in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Peoria. With a robust academic and clinical background, Dr. Benson is dedicated to advancing the field of pediatric care through both his teaching and research endeavors. Dr. Benson earned his medical degree from Southern Illinois University, where he developed a strong foundation in medical sciences. His passion for pediatrics led him to pursue a residency in MedPeds at the University of Illinois College of Medicine Peoria, where he honed his skills in both internal medicine and pediatrics. This dual training provided him with a comprehensive understanding of the continuum of care from childhood through adulthood. Following his residency, Dr. Benson further specialized by completing fellowships in Pediatric Critical Care and Pediatric Pulmonology at the Medical College of Wisconsin.
