John Farnsworth is an Associate Professor of Aerospace Engineering Sciences at the University of Colorado Boulder. He also directs the Experimental Aerodynamics Laboratory and is a member of the Aerospace Mechanics Research Center (AMREC). His research focuses on experimental fluid dynamics, image-based flow velocimetry, flow control, unsteady aerodynamics, three-dimensional flow fields, fluid-structure interaction, wind turbine aerodynamics, and biologically inspired flight. He holds a Ph.D. and M.S. in Aeronautical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and a B.S. in Aeronautical and Mechanical Engineering from the same institution.
