

Kwan Kim
Renowned for innovative teaching in the field of economics, Kwan Kim is a Full Professor Emeritus at the University of Notre Dame. With a distinguished career spanning five decades, he has made significant contributions to the academic community, particularly through his roles as a Faculty Fellow at both the Kellogg Institute for International Studies and the Liu Institute for Asian Studies. His dedication to education and research has left an indelible mark on the university and its students. Professor Kim's research interests lie in the intricate dynamics of political and economic dysfunction, as well as the development of strategies to revitalize economies in developing countries. Over the years, he has published more than 80 articles and authored 14 books, solidifying his reputation as a leading expert in his field. He has successfully guided 14 doctoral candidates to completion, each of whom has gone on to make their own contributions to the field.
