Exploring transformative approaches to musculoskeletal oncology, Dr. Kurt R. Weiss is an esteemed associate professor in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh. With a dedicated focus on sarcoma, cachexia, metastasis, and bone cancer, Dr. Weiss has established himself as a leading figure in the field. As the director of the Musculoskeletal Oncology Laboratory and vice chair of translational research, he is committed to advancing the understanding and treatment of musculoskeletal tissues and sarcomas.
