Jingbing Xue

Professor Jingbing Xue is an esteemed faculty member at the University of Rochester's Brain and Cognitive Sciences department, where he focuses on the real-world applications of imaging sciences in the medical field. With a robust background in radiology and interventional procedures, Dr. Xue is dedicated to advancing the understanding and treatment of complex pulmonary conditions, including pulmonary embolism and lung cancer. Dr. Xue's academic journey began at Bethune University of Medical Sciences, where he earned his medical degree. He further honed his expertise during his radiology residency at Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital and Zhejiang Cancer Hospital. His commitment to excellence led him to pursue two fellowships in Vascular & Interventional Radiology, first at the University of Rochester Medical Center and then at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. These experiences have equipped him with a comprehensive skill set that he applies to both his research and teaching. Throughout his career, Dr. Xue has been recognized for his contributions to the field of radiology. Notably, he was honored with the Shu-Ren Lin Award for Continued Excellence in Radiology Resident Teaching, a testament to his dedication to educating the next generation of medical professionals.
