

Filbert Totsingan
Widely regarded for his contributions to the field of chemistry and chemical biology, Dr. Filbert Totsingan is a Lecturer at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI). With a robust academic background, he earned his M.S. in Industrial Chemistry and his Ph.D. in Organic and Bioorganic Chemistry from the University of Parma, Italy. Dr. Totsingan's research is at the forefront of enzymatic catalysis, where he explores the use of enzymes as catalysts for the preparation and selective modification of biologically active polymers and small molecules. Dr. Totsingan's research interests are diverse and innovative, encompassing areas such as nanoparticle engineering and the development of amphiphilic unimolecular peptide nanoparticles.
