

Jingzhong Ding
Jingzhong Ding has led transformative projects in the field of gerontology and geriatric medicine, contributing significantly to our understanding of aging and related diseases. As an Associate Professor at the School of Medicine and Research Institute at Virginia Tech, he brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his research and teaching. Dr. Ding's academic journey began with an MD from Bengbu Medical College in China, followed by a PhD from the School of Hygiene and Public Health at Johns Hopkins University, where he honed his skills in public health and epidemiology. Dr. Ding's research interests are diverse yet interconnected, focusing on critical areas such as cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, obesity, and Alzheimer's disease. His work in epigenetics has provided new insights into how genetic and environmental factors influence the aging process and the development of age-related diseases.
