Professor Jingjing (Jing) Huang emphasizes the importance of integrating theoretical knowledge with practical applications in the field of accounting. As an Associate Professor and John F. Carroll, Jr. Faculty Fellow in the Accounting and Information Systems department at Pamplin College of Business, Virginia Tech, she is dedicated to advancing the understanding of complex financial systems and their impact on corporate decision-making. Dr. Huang's academic journey is marked by a robust educational background. She earned her Ph.D. in Accounting from the University of Oregon, where she developed a keen interest in the intricacies of tax systems and financial accounting. Her Master's Degree in Accounting from Iowa State University further honed her analytical skills, while her Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Shanghai University of Electric Power laid the foundation for her career in business and finance. Her research interests are diverse and encompass tax, financial accounting, corporate finance, and R&D innovation. Dr. Huang is particularly interested in how these areas intersect and influence each other, contributing to the broader understanding of financial practices and policies.
