Kurt Zinn

Professor Kurt Zinn is a distinguished member of the faculty in Small Animal Clinical Sciences at the College of Veterinary Medicine, Michigan State University. With an impressive academic background, he holds a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry, a Master of Science in Chemistry, a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, and a Ph.D. in Biochemistry, all conferred by the University of Missouri. His extensive education laid a strong foundation for his career in veterinary medicine and research. In 1995, Professor Zinn joined the faculty of the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) Radiology department, where he made significant contributions as the director of the Laboratory of Multimodality Imaging and the Small Animal Imaging Shared Facility. His leadership in these roles underscored his commitment to advancing the field of radiology and imaging sciences. As a member of the UAB Graduate Faculty, he played a pivotal role in mentoring students and fostering a collaborative research environment.
