Dr. Jina Sohn is redefining paradigms in cardiovascular medicine through her pioneering work in echocardiography and percutaneous valve procedures. As a Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine (Clinician Educator) at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California, she is at the forefront of advancing cardiac care. Her research is deeply rooted in the intricacies of echocardiography, and she plays a pivotal role in numerous multi-center percutaneous valve trials, contributing significantly to the evolution of cardiac interventions. Dr. Sohn's expertise extends to directing structural echocardiography, where she skillfully performs percutaneous valve procedures, including Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR), MitraClip, and other innovative heart devices.
