Jeff Nugent is a Professor of Economics and Business at the University of Southern California (USC). His research focuses on empirical assessments of development programs and policies, with an emphasis on labor market and trade reforms, and on applications to the Middle East and North Africa region. He is a member of the Center for International Studies at USC and a Senior Research Associate at the Economic Research Forum. He has authored several books and numerous publications on development economics.
